Modulim’s Medical Advisory Board consists of top practicing and community-based clinicians who have a wide range of skills and expertise in areas such as practice management, reimbursement, and patient care. Medical Advisory Board members are committed to facilitating advancements in the treatment of foot complications, including ulcers, non-healing wounds, infections and amputations, and improving patients’ overall health and wellness. Jeffrey Lehrman, DPM, FASPS, MAPWCA, CPC, was named as the Inaugural Chair of Modulim’s Medical Advisory Board. Dr. Lehrman is in private practice at A Step Ahead Foot & Ankle Center in Fort Collins, CO, and the owner of Lehrman Consulting, LLC.
Matthew G. Garoufalis, DPM, FASPS, FACFAOM, CWS, FFPM, RCPS (Glasg), is in private practice at Professional Foot Care Specialists, PC, and is the Immediate Past President of the International Federation of Podiatrists, and Past President of the American Podiatric Medical Association (APMA).
Michael J. King, DPM, FACFAS, FASPS, has been in private practice for 32 years in New England and is Board Certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. He currently serves as Medical Director at Upperline Healthcare, Inc., and is the Past President of the APMA and Massachusetts Podiatric Medical Society.
Kevin C. McDonald, DPM, is the President of InStride Foot and Ankle Specialists and editor of, “The Diabetic Foot Book.” Dr. McDonald is also a Member of the APMA and Past President and Member of the North Carolina Foot and Ankle Society.
Jennifer Spector, DPM, FACFAS, is the President and Executive Board Member for the American Association for Women Podiatrists (AAWP). She is also the former AAWP Scientific Conference Chair.
Phillip E. Ward, DPM, Cape Fear Valley Foot and Ankle Center in North Carolina, is certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery and American Board of Podiatric Medicine. Dr. Ward is Past President of the APMA, Editorial Board Member of the American Medical Association (AMA) and Current Procedural Terminology Assistant and APMA Advisor to the AMA (Current Procedural Terminology Panel).
Modulim’s Medical Advisory Board will meet regularly to provide input on clinical research, best practices, product design, and clinical education. The Medical Advisory Board will serve as a strategic resource as the company establishes partnerships with leading clinical centers of excellence.
