Modulated Imaging is now open for business in our new facility, located in the heart of the Irvine Business District. For the past few years, Modulated Imaging has worked out of two separate locations, one on the UC Irvine campus, and another in San Juan Capistrano. Our new facility allows us to operate out of a single location, and provides the space required to accommodate recent and planned growth.
Located at 17151 Gillette Avenue, the new office is 6000 square feet, which includes office space, a dedicated production facility, and a warehouse. Most important to the Modulated Imaging engineering team, this location provides the opportunity to expand the electronics lab to support the company’s ongoing research and development opportunities.
In the heart of Orange County, the city of Irvine is an important part of the Southern California biomedical corridor, and hosts the headquarters of several important biomedical device companies. We are excited to be in such good company.
Modulated Imaging was founded to commercialize this breakthrough SFDI technology, and was spun out of the Photonic Incubator within the Beckman Laser Institute at UC Irvine. Since its inception, Modulated Imaging has been backed by a passionate team who believes in the potential of SFDI as a revolutionary tissue imaging technology for research in many fields, medical diagnostics, and therapy monitoring.
