Modulim, the global leader in optical imaging solutions for the non-invasive assessment of tissue and vascular health, announced that Dr. Anand Patel, Chief of Interventional Radiology, Providence Little Company of Mary Medical Centers in Torrance, and San Pedro with Advanced Imaging of South Bay, has joined the company’s advisory board.

Bio

Dr. Patel has a degree in Bioengineering from the University of Pennsylvania, and an MD from Harvard Medical School. He completed his Radiology residency and Vascular & Interventional Fellowship at the University of California at San Francisco. Dr. Patel has an innovative clinical, research, and entrepreneurial background with patent-pending medical devices. He was Founder/CEO of med device startup in the interventional oncology space that was successfully acquired. Dr. Patel’s interests lie in interventional radiology, peripheral arterial disease, med devices, artificial intelligence, and developing novel advanced imaging technologies including. His peers have selected him as a top doctor featured in 2018 by LA Magazine. Dr. Patel’s work has been published in multiple peer-reviewed publications and presented at numerous international conferences. He has worked extensively with the med device industry on advanced R&D, FDA clearance, and reimbursement from CMS.
